Debi comes to California by way of Texas. She was born in West Texas and spent her young adolescence growing up in Alaska where her father was a college administrator.
Debi has been actively involved in theater as an actor and instructor since 1980. She first became involved in film and television in 1986 and has been living the dream since then. As a writer, director, producer, she has written over 86 stage plays, two novels, a collection of poetry, 3 screenplays, and a delightful collection of stories about growing up in the southwest entitled Sweet Tea and Tumbleweeds.
Debi performs the Sweet Tea stories with charm, humor and comic timing. She invites audiences into her world and takes them on a journey through time to one of the most colorfully outrageous states in the nation. The music video music song “Monkey” features Rachael Leigh Cook. Debi co-stars in this music video created by Poets and Pornstars.
